All I Want for Christmas... are my Wedding Pictures!!!

Well, sadly I have had to settle on the realization that I am not going to get my Christmas wish. So much for Christmas in April. My wedding photographer was - excuse me I just gagged at the thought - yeah thats how I feel about him. Our wedding pics are less than terrible and there is not a single good, frameable one of Ryan and I, not to mention none with all my family, bridesmaids, etc. Yes many tears have been shed, obviously. My one consolation is that, tragically, the same thing happened to my best friend, Jenn - she had a crap photographer and doesnt have many good pictures from her wedding.... and you know what? She's still alive and married. She's still kickin'. So I figure I will survive as well.

That said, we did have a goofy, amateur sophisticated, professional photo booth at our reception and ironically enough they are some of the cutest pictures I have with some of my bridesmaids. Perspective intact... (there are starving children in Ethiopia)... I'll take 'em. :)

I am so sorry!! That is terrible. I don't have any good ones from mine either. On that note, I am so nervous because I am taking pictures at a wedding on May 1st and that is my worst fear! I want more than anything for them to have pictures that they love. BUT, I am a whiz with Photoshop. So, if there are any that you want me to play with to make them frameable, let me know and I will play with them. I love editing pics :)

These make me laugh out loud at my desk everyday - I have them right by my computer and all I have to do is take a look and they make me smile! It was a beautiful day and I HOPE (fingers crossed) there are some salvageable shots from the photographer. You know that I know exactly how you feel... Just collect as many from your friends and family that were there as possible - that'll help tell the story and in the end, all that matters is the love that will go on forever. =) Chin up - when you get sad, think about your crazy bridesmaids and turn that frown upside down! Yes - I just said that...
