Yea, I totally have your friends on my side, I'm awesome!!! And Jenn, I loved the article, hadn't read that one yet. About the 'daniel' comment - DITTO. I have been a long time supporter of Brett Favre based on my Mississippi/Southern Miss ties BUT enough is enough. And if you don't believe either of us - check out this article - it really lays out the facts. Sorry to burst your bubble hun but this guy is dragging down an entire team right now - not building them up.

Ruth Wilson, so many things wrong with your Brett post. Now, I fully admit I have no idea what most of your girly posts are about, but commenting on football posts is right up my ally. First, whether or not you want to admit it, you are a Brett Favre fan, not a Packers fan. First, if you you are fully prepared to support the Packers, Brett's New Team, and the Texans, I hate to tell you but you are really not a fan of any of them. Second, and I'm certainly no Packers apologist, but you fail to mention any of the other side of the story. Like how Favre has pulled his "will he or won't he?" crap for three straight years. And don't give me the "he has earned it!" argument, because so many team decisions hinge on who the QB is, and if he cared about the team, he wouldn't string them out. Or like a month after he retired, he told them he wanted to come back, they said ok, we want you back, then he changed his mind again to stay retired, then they drafted two more QB's in the draft (including a valuable 2nd rounder), then he decided again he wanted to come back. And this comment "I think he is a much needed addition to the sport of football as his integrity, purity and talent when it comes to the game are not matched by anyone else playing today." First, off, talent being unmatched today is ridiculous, he has long been the most overrated QB in the league, he loses as many games with moronic interceptions as he wins with spectacular plays. And even people who turn a blind eye to that can't honestly say he is in the top 3 or even 5 QB's in the game today (The best football I saw the Packers play last year was the 2nd half of the Cowboys game they almost came back to win when Brett was playing really well, oh wait, sorry, Aaron Rodgers was in during the second half, he led the almost comeback from Brett's horrid first half! Owned!). And as for integrity, last I checked, a player who continually holds his team hostage and refuses any blame in his current situation, who also blatantly flopped down in front of Michael Strahan to hand him the single season sack record, is not the definition of integrity in my book (and don't make me bring up the painkiller situation that he repeatedly gets a pass on. I have to listen everytime he is mentioned to how Michael Irvin was caught with cocaine, but nobody seems to remember any of this when talking about Brett). I obviously know many Favre apologists, so I certainly don't expect you to listen to a word of it, but I just can't help getting into a fun Brett Favre trash talk session! And you should just be happy that I take precious time out of my day to read you blog (Which I must admit, can be quite entertaining when not posting about make-up, completely over my head). Wow, this is less like a comment and more like a blog post, enough rambling, talk to you later!
